KIRK Precision Magnesium

This KIRK Precision MTB frame made of cast Magnesium is the only manufacturer to utilize this material in cast form for a bicycle frame.

They were made between 1988 to 1992 and then the company went into bankruptcy.

Frank Kirk was a top level engineer who thought he would reinvent the bicycle, but with a long list of orders and not enough personnel and factory space, they were not able to meet demand.

There were many road frames made but only very few of the MTB variety.

This particular example is NOS (New Old Stock), never been built.

It comes with the front derailleur which is extremely difficult to find in NOS condition as they were made by Shimano (XT quality) for a few frames only.

One only – $800
